It’s official. Pussy Riot is now the liberal bandwagon du jour. The Guardian’s Carol Rumens has sealed their fate with this abominably safe, mealy translation, replacing the slur against Patriarch Kirill, whom P.R. brilliantly refer to as a ‘bitch’, with ‘vermin’ - amongst other abominations.
